In the Neighborhood Blog Post

This project was a continuation of an "In the neighborhood" series that is a part of the Visit Knoxville Blog Page. This project consisted of extensive research in the communities of Halls and Powell in order to write an accurate and coherent blog post. I visited with community members, took photos, and curated everything into one post.

This project lasted a little over a week from start to finish. The most challenging part of the process was learning to use Simpleview CMS system to create a blog post from scratch. I learned of a new way to structure the post so that I could have three photos for each section. Part of the process was physically driving and walking around the community so that I could add as many businesses as possible without leaving anyone our. I also had to make sure that all information I wrote was accurate and up to date. I enjoyed writing this post about my hometown and looking at it from a tourist's perspective.
